Request: Variance and Special Exception in R-1 zone as follows: 1. Variance: attach encased communication antennas (encasement 10 ft. in height) on top of existing 95 ft. tall utility pole (total resulting height: 105 ft.) within public road right-of-way; 2. Special Exception: erect ancillary maintenance building (Note: proposed utility building approximately 100 sq. ft. in size, located 30 ft. behind utility pole, and surrounded by landscape buffers).

Decision: Approved

Hearing: The staff report is located on the following pages. The BZA felt this type of request was a good alternative to new tower construction. There was no opposition to this request.
