Staff stated the applicant did not demonstrate that she had met the variance criteria and also shared their concern of the precedent that may be set if the request is approved. The BZA commented how the county has taken great effort to cure problems in Wedgefield development, and approval of the applicant's request would compound problems of the past. The BZA added that the applicant could seek recourse with the contractor who she states made the error. Staff received 2 commentaries in favor, 2 in opposition and 1 no opinion.
